Welcome to my web page!!!
This was my original home page...created in Oct 1998. (the type here in maroon was added in Dec 00 as an explanation of this, my first webpage) When I started this project it fast spun out of control. Trying to maintain all the links soon became unmanageable. But my thought of trying to catalog all the Radloffs in cyberspace is still there and one day maybe I'll figure out how to do it. I mean wouldn't it be kind of cool for our great-grandchildren to see who and what was out there in 2000. Any enjoy the rest of this page and please feel free to surf the site. Steve
I thought I'd try something new and different - a web page dedicated to all the Radloffs in Cyberspace.
The idea for this came to me several years ago as I was doing some genealogy research and began reading about one-name studies. The thought occurred to me that wouldn't it be neat to have a web site with connections to all the Radloffs out there... It only took me 3 years to block out the time to do it. Finally in September 98 I began the really working on this. Using Microsoft's Front Page, Excel, Email Ferret, Web Ferret and ged2html, plus some brute force, I was able to pull it all together. Finally in 18 October 1998 this website made it's debut. Since then I've been tweaking and updating as I find the time. One thing I've discovered is that maintaining a web site can be a fulltime job.
Since starting this project I've also changed the emphasis to more of a genealogy slant. As I watch the web grow and grow more and more information becomes available for us to use. I can remember my first experiments in 'surfing' starting on an old 286 machine in 1992 and a text browser. There weren't many pictures back then and information was limited. But now it's whole new universe. So sit back and enjoy.

The Radloffs out there are truly a mixed bag... we have students, teachers, computer programmers, business people, government employees, authors, entertainers, farmers, scientists, and lawyers. I'm also amazed at the number of legal cases involving Radloffs.
Given the rather uncommon name, I've been amazed at how many actually appear in cyberspace. What's even more amazing is how many Radloff's are searching their family line and how many of those lines are not connected. Maybe some of the lines will become connected via this site.
